Their Future Today shared a wonderful evening with WHS girls, parents and many distinguished guests at our annual fundraising Magical Charity Gala. Magician and mind reader Paul Martin Magician – a favourite of the Royal family, hosted the event. Through amazing and exciting money can’t buy auction prizes and donations, a generous amount was raised which will go towards supporting next year’s TFT projects in Sri Lanka - all of which aim to improve the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged children who are often abandoned or living in orphanages.
TFT Ambassador volunteers from Wimbledon High School alumnaegreeted guests on arrival, including TV celebrity Anthea Turner and TFT’s patron Richard Farleigh, who is known for his appearances on Dragon’s Den. They also welcomed the Sri Lankan Deputy High Commissioner and the President of the British Sri Lankan Association and were able to share experiences of their ‘ Inspire Worldwide’ Girls 4 Girls trip to Sri Lanka.
