While we do not support the orphanage system, it is imperative to improve the health, education and well being of abandoned babies and children who are languishing inside. Without love or even the most basic care, their voices must be heard.
Our TFT Hearts programme was designed to create a loving family environment and provide structure and learning, which didn't exist. These are the building blocks to ensure more successful reintegration into families and long term emotional stability in the future. Our 18-month childcare training in the baby orphanage ended successfully in August thanks to specialists Richard Lynas and Stephanie Hynard who worked tirelessly at what seemed at times to be an impossible task.
