Dear valued friends and supporters
We hope you are staying well, and thought we would warm your heart on Children's Day with some positive stories which you have helped us to achieve with your generosity during the most challenging of times this year.
Children's Day in Sri Lanka is an important day of celebration which raises public awareness about the rights of children, and we are more determined than ever to shout loudly about thousands of invisible children there who are locked away in institutions, barely surviving without love, sunshine, or education, and forgotten.
Having made so much progress last year with national childcare services to deliver alternative family and foster care training to end institutionalisation, it has been disappointing that our plans have had to pause. However, we are working alongside our partners to devise ways to work differently, and will bring you exciting news about this soon.
If everyone reading this donated just the cost of a coffee a week (£2.50) it would ensure our sustainability and the continuation of support to all our 4000 vulnerable children and families in 2021.
It's quick, it's easy, and takes only 2 minutes and we can assure you that your £2.50 per week (or more) will swell your heart and be the best value for money you've ever spent in helping to give hope, education, and love to those who so desperately need it.
Thank you as always for your continued support, it is very much appreciated.
Lynn & Joel
