Sadly this is not our usual positive update of the impactful work we continue to do in Sri Lanka to improve the lives of vulnerable children and their families.
Due to the worsening economic and humanitarian crisis which is so serious and distressing we've taken the decision to push back our special riverside event at the Houses of Parliament on Friday 1st July 2022.
We are prioritising all our time and energy to our appeal, providing emergency food and medical supplies, and raising awareness to try to prevent starvation for our most disadvantaged rural families who are beginning to lose all hope, and while children are going to bed hungry and asking desperate parents "Amma will there be any food tomorrow?" we feel this is not a time for celebration.
A new event date will be confirmed soon, and your tickets will automatically be transferred or full refunds will be given. Thank you for your understanding.
