Opportunity Position - UK Volunteer (Facemask Initiative)
Where the role is based
Mainly at home, mainly at the office, or remote opportunity.
We are currently supporting artisan mothers who are without income due to the Covid-19 crisis to make ethically made face coverings, hair bands and recycled saree bags. This is helping to keep vulnerable families together and children educated and is preventing child abandonment into harmful orphanages.
Successful sales have meant we are now looking to develop this venture by producing a wider range of merchandise to sell, and TFT is seeking a volunteer to manage this project in the UK.
The successful and passionate volunteer will have a keen eye for fashion trends that can be easily adapted and sustainably produced. Your main task will be to research growing trends in accessories, focusing on bags, hair accessories, and scarves, as well as trending prints and textiles.
